Bescoat Group is based in Kanhangad, the northernmost part of Kerala, India which is well accessible by Air, Sea, Rail, and Road. Our nearest domestic and international airports are Mangalore and Kannur. Mangalore is also a seaport town.

Bescoat has a manufacturing facility located at Madikai in Kanhangad – Nileshwer Road about 6 km from Kanhangad town. The plant manufactures high-quality Kaolin using the “STATE OF THE ART” technology. We are engaged in the mining and processing of China Clay and Kaolin for various industrial applications in domestic and overseas markets. Our Kaolin Plant was commissioned in the year 1973. We have a large number of well-satisfied clientele for our Kaolin grade, both domestic and international.

At Bescoat, we have a vertically integrated and R&D focused in developing, manufacturing various therapeutic products. We market and distribute medicines and cleansers.

We have recently diversified into the area of in organic farming to leverage our farming techniques and skills.

Bescoat has the Import Export Code from the Director General of Foreign Trade and entered into direct export. And we continue to enjoy the largest share of Pharma Grade Kaolin in India.

In the year 1978, we could come out successfully with the commercial production of our products with valid Drug Manufacturing License issued by the Drugs Controller and Licensing Authority with GMP Certification. Within a short span of 5 years, our products could muster 70% of the domestic market-share following the approval and regular consumption of the products by large Indian Pharmaceutical Corporate companies and the then Multi-National Companies having manufacturing facilities in India viz, Pfizer, Glaxo, Abbot, John Wyeth, Smith Kline, Geoffrey Manners, May & Baker, Aventis, Hoechst, etc.

The Research and Development work for the development of different grades of China Clay and Kaolin has been a continuous process since the inception of our units and we could develop Pharma Grade Kaolin. The different grades of Kaolin are:
